Oleaje is a group exhibition curated by AM:PM Gallery & Yaritza Piñeiro to close out Latine Heritage Month. Rooted in the rhythms of the sea, it honors the African and Taíno heritage of the Latin Caribbean diaspora while confronting the ongoing legacies of colonization, displacement, (re)connection, and resistance. We invite artists to reflect on ancestry, migration, and survival, and to imagine how waves of memory and resilience continue to carry us forward. All mediums are welcome, including painting, sculpture, photography, textile, video, and installation.
